Who Am I?
Hello readers, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jaydin Negron and I am currently a freshman in Farmingdale State College. I attended High School at CTEA in Queens. HS for CTEA stands for the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering and Architecture. In CTEA my concentration was Architecture. My father owns a construction company, so I always wanted to be a part of that business with him. Thus, I went to the CTEA to study architecture and get some kind of background knowledge on architecture before college. However, in the beginning of my senior year I realized I wanted to do something different than architecture. I decided I wanted to be a computer programmer. I knew that field of work would give me more opportunities to find work and also more opportunities to be able to take my own path and work for myself. Businesses all around the world are improving their technology and they all need programmers to do so. Therefore, I chose to find a college that would give me the proper education to one day become a computer programmer. Programming is a competitive field, but while the competition increases, the demand for work also increases. Plus, I enjoy some competition. Find out in my next post how I became so intrigued by competition.
